I made these cards to donate to someone who has been challenged with making 1,000 cards for the Children's Hospital in Detroit. I used my new Quickutz fox and some paper that I have been holding onto for about 2 years now. I got it from Creative Memories. I made 5 that are targeted more for girls and 5 that are more for boys.

Here is a card that I made for my brother's birthday. I cased this card. I loved the glitter and the polar bear and since I have that for my Cricut, I thought it would be perfect. I hope you like it.

Thought I'd upload some cards I made recently. I must need to get a light box or something because the photos never do the cards justice.

This one I made because every time my MIL walked by this set she would say "I just love that giraffe". I thought I would stamp a few images with it for her to take home. She is going home to Holland tomorrow and only has so much room for stamp sets so we are just stamping images for her. I still had the PP on my desk from the next card and I saw Michele Boyer use it on a baby card and I thought it was so great. The PP is by Crate Paper. I used Lemon Tart, Bazzill (not sure what shade of brown), Pumpkin Pie and Bashful Blue paper. Inks are Versamagic brown, close to cocoa and barely banana. The ribbon I got at Joann's for a dollar.

This one I used using It's a Western Thing by The Cat's Pajamas. I colored it with my SU pads and a watercolor brush. I totally love this set. It is so versatile. Great for boys but also has girlie images. CUTE!

This one I used a set from Inkadinkado. I also love this set and have used it quite a few times. I made the cutest card with it but was in such a hurry to get it out, I didn't photograph it. Oh well. So, I probably can't recreate it exactly but that's the fun of art, right? I can't remember who the PP is from and am too lazy to run up stairs right now. I used my new Fiskars punch. I am definitely going to have to invest in the Nestabilities circles because my 1 3/8 punch is just a little too small for some things. Anyway, if anyone is even reading this, I hope you like them.

For birthday card, stamps are from Stampin Up Loads of Love and Accessories. Inks are SU ink with watercolor brush and Berry Sorbet from Papertrey Ink.

Cupcake Challenge 17

There are some firsts for me today. This is my first post with a card and this is the first time I have ever participated in a challenge. I decided to participate in Taylor's cupcake challenge today. After learning from several mistakes, this is what I came up with. The dress looks prettier IRL. I don't understand why it looks so odd in the photo.

supplies used: Stamps-Warmest Regards SU, Elzybells Girl on Swing, Paper-Happy Bloom Chatterbox PP and Sun Wash Plaid Bo Bunny PP, Kraft SU, Ribbon-Papertrey Ink Lemon Tart, Inks-Only Orange, Yo Yo Yellow, Choc Chip, Close to Cocoa, Summer Sun, Certainly Celery SU, Berry Sorbet Papertrey Ink, Accesories-brads I think they are Making Memories? Not sure. Thanks!

First Post

This is my first post in my new blog. I have never done this before so I am going to have to play a bit before I really get into it.
